Honeymoon Getaway

Weekend or weekday two night stay in the Honeymoon room or any of our eight rooms with private baths. Your stay includes candlelight dinner and breakfast for only $528 plus tax. Each evening we offer wine and cheese from 6pm to 7pm where you might join the other guests or take your glass of wine to roam about the mansions first floor. We offer you one private dinner in a seperate room and one dinner with the group seating to experience all Madewood has to offer. You may choose to have private dinner each evening with additional cost. One complimentary bottle of champagne is available. A full plantation breakfast is served at 8:30am in the main dining room and we offer you one private breakfast in your room at 9am. Spend your day relaxing at Madewood or visit other attractions that are an easy drive from Madewood: Oak Alley, Laura, Nottoway, Houmas House, Attakapas Adventures Swamp tour, Debbies's Antiques and Demitasse Coffee Shop. For lunch, there are local eateries or you might drive into Thibodaux to Fremins or Bubba's; Donaldsonville, for The Grapevine and artist, Alvin Batiste.
