General InformationThe Cornerstone, built in 1894, is a 10,200 square foot, two and one-half story 14-room mansion located in Omaha's Historic Goldcoast area. The home was built for the prominent Offutt family (nearby Offutt Air Force Base is named for their son Jarvis). The inn features French Chateauesque architecture with a symmetrical facade, steeply pitched red slate roof and an impressive front entrance. The Cornerstone is centrally located for easy access to all areas of the city - Old Market Shops, restaurants, museums, universities, hospitals and medical center. Breakfast is served in the elegant formal dining room or on the sun porch. Continental Breakfast is served Monday through Friday with a special menu Saturday and Sunday. The InnFone telephone system, modem access, fax availability and short drive to Eppley Airfield make The Cornerstone convenient for business and pleasure travelers who wish to have a "home away from home."
