Birk's Apple Syrup for French Bread Casserole
Total preparation time: 15 minutes
Serves: 8Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 teaspoons corn starch
- 1 cup apple cider or juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon concentrate
- 2 tablespoons butter
Steps:
- Combine dry ingredients in a saucepan and mix thoroughly together.
- Pour in liquids and stir.
- Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture begins to boil. Continue stirring for 2 minutes more, will have thickened by then.
- Remove from heat and add in butter, stir until butter melts.
- Serve with Birk's French Bread Casserole
