Pecan French Toast

Serves: 8Ingredients:
- loaf French Bread
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 1 1/2 cups Milk
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup butter
Steps:
- Cut French bread into 8 equal pieces and place them cut side up in a greased 8X 11 baking dish
- Mix milk, 1/2 and 1/2, eggs, cinnimon, nutmeg and vanilla and pour over bread
- Cover and refrigerate overnight
- Mix topping ingredients, brown sugar, maple syrup, pecans, and melted butter and pour over french toast just before baking it in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes.
- Serve with maple syrup
