A 2 story Italianate style inn circa 1867. Originally a hotel where farmers stayed after a long journey, coming to Galena to sell their products to passing steamships. The inn has recently been renovated to make for more modern conveniences. Two original walnut stairways. All the wood pine flooring is original to the building, and much more. The inn is within walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and attractions. Off site parking is available across the street. Private baths, tasteful decorating and cable TV in each room. DVD & CD players in all rooms. Hot tub in back yard. Large common areas conducive to family reunions, small meetings, business luncheons, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, anniversary, etc. Seasonally decorated throughout the year and especially beautiful during Christmas time.
