Whispering Pines This second-floor room is sweet, with queen bed, corner fireplace, beautiful clawfoot whirlpool, and private bath with shower. The layout offers loads of daylight and starlight, thanks to eastern, southern and western exposures. This room has air conditioning, although rarely needed. Elisha’s Room This room is located on the second floor of the Main House. Elisha was R.D. Pike’s father and one of the founding fathers of Bayfield. This room is serenely decorated, with calming views of Lake Superior and giant white pines along Pikes Creek Valley. A queen bed and private bath with claw foot tub and shower are also quite relaxing. Private bath. Feel the gentle breezes wash over you.
The Garden House, Pinehurst version of “eco-lodging” at its best, offers three spacious guest rooms, each with whirlpool bath and fireplace, and private decks that overlook the perennial gardens and secluded Pikes Creek Valley.
