General InformationFrom the moment you walk through the door Mont Rest transports you back to a lost era of grace and beauty. This historic Inn is Iowa's most luxurious bed and breakfast. Built in 1893, Mont rest is nestled halfway up a 9 acre wooded bluff overlooking one of the most panoramic views of the mighty Mississippi River. Sit in a rocker on the front porch and watch eagles catch fish from the Mississippi. We're the perfect setting for a Honeymoon, Anniversary, or just a get away weekend, and are located near two of the largest gambling boats on the Mississippi.

Mont Rest Cancellation Policy (Strictly Enforced): You may cancel up to 30 days ahead of your scheduled arrival with no penalty. We will reschedule you for another date as you desire and as long as there is available space that day. If an emergency should arise and you have to cancel inside the 30 day cancellation period, please call us and we will try to resale your reservation. If we resale your reservation, you will be allowed to reschedule on a space available basis. If we are unable to resale your reservation, you will be held responsible for your reservation. You are welcome to reserve up to one year in advance. Please note the expiration date on your certificate. Due to limited space and the great demand for our rooms, we regret we cannot honor expired certificates. - Accepted by the following agencies:

Christine Zraick majored in fine arts/oil painting in college. She was president of Chicago Son Writers Guild, former model and had a folk rock band in the late 70's. She has taken performing workshops at Second City in Chicago. An Antiquer for years, Christine has owned stores selling fine Victorian antiques. A former Vice President and one of the founders of the IBBIA. And Boy! Can this girl cook. - The innkeepers speak: English
