Finnish Casserole

- 8 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups milk
- 3/4 cup butter, divided
Steps:
- Melt 1/4 cup butter in the bottom of a 9x13" pan while oven preheats to 400 degrees.
- In a large bowl mix the eggs, sugar, flour, salt, milk and the other 1/2 cup of butter, melted (and slightly cooled).
- Pour the batter into the pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and cool for several minutes before cutting into squares.
- Note:
The entire dish can be cooked and refrigerated then individual portions reheated in the microwave before serving.
