Roberta's (Birdie's) Hummus: Appetizer-Snack

Prep time:1/2 hour

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chick peas with 1/2 the liquid reserved

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/3 cup tahini

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • salt and pepper to taste

Step 1:

Break out your mom's osterizer (blender) and puree the chick peas and combine the rest of the ingredients.
