General Information

Sitting atop a knoll overlooking Dewey Lake, a "Country Retreat" awaits manor guests in the Irish Hills of Southern Michigan. This 1860's Italianate home has five guestrooms with private baths and fireplaces, one with Jacuzzi tub furnished with antiques and old-fashioned wallpapers. A large deck and glass enclosed porch, with a view of the lake, provides a pleasant place to enjoy a summer breakfast or to just relax. Other rooms include a parlor with a piano and a sitting room with a bay window overlooking the lake, there are eighteen acres to wander and a picnic area by the lakeshore. Guests may also enjoy the paddleboat, canoe, and evening bonfires by the lake. The central location of the Irish Hills offers antiquing, fifty-two spring fed lakes, golfing, fishing, quaint towns, and much more. Car enthusiasts are just 3 miles from Michigan Speedway. Whether you come to enjoy the sweet sounds of a summer night or the quiet stillness of the frozen lake, your stay will be one to remember.
