Creekwood Inn

  • Inn Details

In the 1930's, Dr. Lawrence Robrock built a country home, called Creekwood, in the woods outside Michigan City, Indiana. Today, the owner has refurbished his home and welcomes guests to the Creekwood Inn. Nestled amidst 30 acres of walnut, oak and pine trees near a fork in Willow Creek, the Inn offers a gracious haven for city dwellers. Twelve guest rooms are located in a modern wing that more than doubles the size of the original home, while retaining the English Cottage flavor of architecture. "Kelly's Table", our restaurant located on the main floor of the Inn, offers guests a gourmet dining experience. The Conservatory features a panoramic view of the pond and gardens and can be used for large meetings.

My boyfriend and I wanted to separate ourselves from the craziness of new years eve, and this was the perfect place! It was a very quiet inn with fireplaces in multiple rooms including the dining room and lobby which gave a very cozy warm feel to the place. We were also lucky enough to get a little history of the original house the inn was built onto. Overall, a unique wonderful place to get away from the world for a night! Would definitely stay again!

We had scheduled a weekend away and had the opportunity to stay at Creekwood Inn. This was our first visit there and the staff were very accomodating in showing us the place and making sure that we were satisfied. We had a very nice hearty breakfast made the next morning in addition to the breakfast products available. The inn was easy to find and will look foreward to another stay again
