Curried Baked Fruit

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Pear Halves, canned
  • 1 lb Cling Peaches, canned
  • 1 lb Pineapple chunks or spears, canned
  • 1 lb Apricot halves, canned
  • 1 dozen (or more) Maraschino Cherries
  • 1/3 cup Butter or Margarine, melted
  • 2/3 cup Almonds, blanched or slivered
  • 3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • Curry powder to taste

Steps:

  1. Drain all fruit, cut into smaller pieces.
  2. Put the cut fruit and almonds into a large pyrex dish.
  3. Melt butter in microwave and add sugar. Pour over the fruit and sprinkle curry powder over the top.
  4. Stir lightly.
  5. Bake at 325 degrees about one hour.
