Fresh Fruit Cup with Yogurt Cream Topping
Ingredients:
- 2 Pears
- 2 Apples
- 1 Honeydew Melon
- 1 Cantelope Melon
- 3 Kiwi
- 3 Bananas
- 1 quart Strawberries or Blueberries
- 2 fresh Lemons (or lemon juice)
- 1/2 cup Orange Juice
- 1 cup Vanilla Yogurt
- 1 cup Whipped Topping
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Steps:
- Cut up your fruit into bite-size pieces. Do not cut the bananas until you are almost ready to serve the fruit.
- Sprinkle the fruit with lemon (lemon is a preservative and will stop the fruit from turning brown). Add 1/2 cup of orange juice and cover until ready to serve.
- To prepare your topping for the fruit, mix the vanilla yogurt, whipped topping and cinnamon well.
- Layer the fruit and yogurt in your fruit dish or top off each serving with a dollop of topping
- This topping can be used for Peaches & Cream French Toast with some chopped pecans added to it.
