The inn was lovely and the location was amazing. You are right in the heart of the City. Right by both the Alcazar and the Ponce de Leon. Even the smallest room is well appointed and nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Innkeeper Response

In 2007 the Old City House spent over $80,000 to completely renovated 5 of 7 rooms and bathrooms, including the Alcazar. The bathrooms in the other 2 rooms were renovated 4 years prior. The issue of noise in the Alcazar Room has also been address with the City of St. Augustine garbage pick up and nearby hotel deliveries. While the Alcazar Room was prone to such noises, they have been mitigated and we now feel our Inn (that room), which locacted on a side street, is as or more peaceful than other Inns/Hotels located on St. Augustine busy main streets.
