General InformationThe atmosphere is "like coming home to mother, but without the guilt." Rooms are furnished with antiques and original art, enhanced by the comforts of excellent bedding, private baths, TV's, refrigerators, and telephones. Breakfasts are delicious. Guests enjoy exclusive use of the parlor, with its book collection and grand piano. The Inn has two suites, two guest houses, and two single rooms. Local attractions include a charming downtown, hunting in season, and farm tours. Within the area one may visit the Museum of Aviation at Warner Robins and Home of President Jimmy Carter in Plains. Inn location: half way between Atlanta and Savannah, off the beaten path.

From the Carolinas, pick up US 221 in Greenwood, South Caroloina, and drive through small towns and along timberlands almost all the way to Eastman. From Florida, take I-75 to Cordele. At Cordele, go east on 280 into Rhine. At Rhine's only traffic light, turn left on 117 and drive north into Eastman. - Nearest major airport: ATL 140 miles

From Atlanta, go south on I-75 to Macon. At Macon, take I-16 toward Savannah. From 16, three exits connect to Highway 23, which will take you into Eastman. Choose one: (1) Exit 6, directly to highway 23 South (2) Exit 12, turn right on to Sgoda Road to highway 23S (3) Exit 24, the Jeffersonville/Tarversville exit, turn right on 96 to 23 South. This exit has gas and food available. In town, from 23 (Oak Street), turn left (east) on 9th Avenue at the Presbyterian Church The Dodge Hill Inn is the second house on your left.
