General InformationOpen since 1982, this alpine-style Bed & Breakfast is located on a beautiful and secluded tree-covered hill above the Chattahoochee River and only 1/2 mile from the village center. Helen is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in one of North Georgia's most scenic areas and just six miles from the Appalachian Trail. A German Oktoberfest is celebrated each September and October. Come and sit in the garden swing, listen to the Bavarian Music of Octoberfest and watch the deer that fequently feed on the front lawn. Enjoy a full breakfast each morning, frequently German-style with hard rolls, cold meat and cheese, pastries and fruit, in our plant-filled sunroom. Your hostess will be happy to direct you to the many outdoor activities and sights.
