General Information

THREE BLOCKS TO THE BILTMORE ESTATE and one mile from downtown Asheville, Cedar Crest is one of the largest,most opulent residences surviving from Asheville's 1890's boom period. Perched on a hill, this landmark is situated on 4 acres of trees and gardens. Built in 1891, the most astonishing feature of Cedar Crest is the exquisite interior woodwork, believed to have been executed by the same skilled artisans employed by George Vanderbilt. This Queen Anne dwelling features treasured architectural details, period antiques and expansive verandahs. A luxurious full breakfast is served daily in the dining room & on the expansive porch.     The 1915 Arts and Crafts style Guest Cottage, adjacent to the Inn, has 2 suites, which may be combined. Suite #1 offers a private sitting room, bedroom with queen bed, and full bath. Suite #2 features 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed, 1 double) with an adjoining bathroom. A large sitting room/dining area features a wood burning fireplace. Both suites access a convenience kitchen, with microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker.

    Deposit refundable up to 30 days prior to the arrival date (LESS A $25 CANCELLATION FEE PER NIGHT AND PER ROOM / SUITE). A 30-day cancellation applies in all cases the entire year. After the 30-day rule no longer applies, you are then held responsible for the FULL rental period and all deposits paid and unpaid are non-refundable. Special events and whole house cancellations are subject to loss of the entire deposit.

Turn right into our driveway immediately after Caledonia Street.
