General Information

Since Dr. Zebulon Robinson built this Victorian structure in 1900 as his home, office and lodging for visitors taking in the summer airs, this house has enjoyed a reputation for hospitality. Seven rooms are all unique, but share the highest level of comfort, quiet and privacy. Walk to galleries, cafes, live music, a luxury spa, and a scenic mountain lake, or kick off your shoes and relax on the huge porches. Let owners Dan and Nancy Ward show you mountain hospitality.

  Nancy's baked French toast is a casserole consisting of freshly sauteed North Carolina apples, a bit of cream cheese and a layer of our homemade whole-grain bread marinated in a mixture of egg and buttermilk. It's got some sugar and butter in it, but mostly it's one of the healthiest sweet dishes you'll ever love.

• Minimum stay required (2 night minimum on most weekends April-Dec. 3 on holidays.)
• Smoking is not allowed (smoking on front and rear outside porches)
• We cannot accommodate guest pets
• Limitations on children staying (Unsuitable for children younger than 12)
• No childcare is provided
• Consumption of alcohol is permitted
• Deposit amount required (Half the total or cost of one night, whichever is greater.)
• Check in time is 4 to 7 p.m. and Check out time is 11 am
• Cancellations:
  14 days notice required for returned deposit. All cancellations result in a $25 processing fee.

  Take U.S. 26 West from the airport to I-240 into Asheville. Get off I-240 at exit 4A, U.S. 19-23 north to Weaverville. Exit at New Stock Road, turn right at the end of the ramp, then almost immediately turn left onto Merrimon Avenue. Drive a mile until you pass a small lake. Take the first right after the lake, Yost Street, drive up the hill and turn left onto Main Street. We are about three blocks down on the right, at the corner of Main and East streets. Turn right onto East and park in back.
