Green Onion and Apple Sausage
Total preparation time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 1/2 tablespoons ground sage
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 Granny Smith apple, fine diced
- 1/2 tablespoon honey
- Lemon, juiced
Steps:
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
- Form into 3/4 inch thick patties.
- In a cast iron skillet over moderate heat, cook sausage patties until center is no longer pink.
