Stems & Petals
Stems and Petals is tucked away in a hidden nook on the main floor, just off the parlor. It has a queen bed and the room opens onto a large, private covered porch on the south side of the Inn. The room is decorated with flowered wallpaper and wildflower prints, inspired by the many wildflowers that bloom in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park throughout the year.

Falls and Creeks
Falls and Creeks is a large room with a king bed on the main floor just off the library. It features a large seating area with a private deck under the shade of a maple tree. Additionally, a Celeste fireplace enhances the room with the charm and ambiance of a gently flickering fire. In the bath, an antique sideboard has been converted into a marble-top vanity. The room is decorated with artwork, prints, and photos of waterfalls and creeks of the Smoky Mountains and other beautiful scenery.

Boots & Saddles
Boots and Saddles is a cozy corner room with a queen bed on the ground floor. A Celeste fireplace enhances the room with the charm and ambiance of a gently flickering fire. Windows open to both the front and the south lawns and offer good views of Deep Creek Valley and the mountains beyond. Like all the ground floor rooms, Boots and Saddles offers the olde world charm of low, pressed-tin ceilings and flagstone floors. The room is decorated in a horse and rider theme, inspired by the popularity of horseback riding in the mountains around Bryson City.

Rods and Creels is a ground floor room with a queen bed and sitting area with a sleeper sofa. Windows offer good views of Deep Creek Valley and the mountains beyond. The room is decorated with a collection of old-fashioned trout fishing paraphernalia, inspired by the great fishing in Deep Creek, the Nantahala River and other streams throughout the area.

Tracks and Trails is a small ground floor room with a queen bed. Windows offer a close-up view of our busy bird feeder, as well as the pasture and the peaks of the Smokies beyond. Like all the ground floor rooms, Tracks and Trails offers the olde world charm of low, pressed-tin ceilings and flagstone floors. The room is decorated with cycling paraphernalia and theme prints inspired by the nationally acclaimed Tsali bike trails just a few miles west of Bryson City.

The room is decorated with prints and photographs of mountain river paddling, inspired by the whitewater thrills that await you on the Nantahala River and Deep Creek.

Lights and Shadows is a bright and airy corner room upstairs, with an antique queen bed, balcony and reading nook. French doors open to a balcony with a view to the east, across Deep Creek valley, with a backdrop of the Smoky Mountains foothills. The room is decorated with a collection of old cameras and inspired by the thousands of "photographic moments" that the Great Smoky Mountains provide. On the walls are photographs of a mountain family, shot in nearby Sylva by photographer Jim Ayres.

The room is decorated with a variety of bird prints, bird houses and books, inspired by the great variety of birds that visit the Folkestone Inn during the year. Over 40 different birds were identified over one Spring weekend!
