General InformationThe Mast Farm Inn is more than a bed and breakfast, with inn rooms, private getaway cottages, fine dining and great wines, organic gardens, and unique gifts completing our historic country appeal. The key to the Inn’s success, however, lies in the exceptionally friendly and caring service offered to lodging and dinner guests alike. With inspired restoration and continuing care, the Inn continues to welcome guests, as it did over 100 years ago. Lodging guests now choose from 8 guest rooms in our 1880s farmhouse and 7 cottages, some restored from original farm buildings, others newly built. Cottages range in size from cozy ones suitable for a couple to large ones for up to six guests. All are unique spaces. The Inn’s restaurant is celebrated, serving fresh, organic, creative contemporary cuisine. Enjoy fireside or terrace dining, depending on the season. The service is attentive, yet relaxed and friendly. Small plates are available in Aunt Josie's Espresso and Wine Bar; stay in the bar or relocate to the inn's wraparound porch. Located in peaceful, historic Valle Crucis, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, the Inn is convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock, close to the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and the magnificent Grandfather Mountain. The current innkeepers have placed special emphasis on the environment, creating a “green” inn where recycling, reducing waste, and buying organic produce locally are taken seriously.
