Lovingly and meticoulously restored in 1993. AAA Four Diamond Award winner for 11 straight years. Key features include original 3 fireplaces, original maple and wide pine plank flooring, contemporary wormy chesnut archways, beams, and door/doorframes. Set on 11 wooded acres inside Boone, with waterfall, stream, gazebo, 12 perennial gardens, original barn, and three sided wrap around porch with rocking chairs . All modern amenities including Wifi, TV/VCRs, complimentary beer, wine,lemonade and sodas. Close to Blue Ridge Pkwy, skiing at Beech and Sugar Mountains, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and Linville Falls.
