Bristol Room
A woodworker's delight! Meticulously restored room with wormy chestnut beams and wide heart pine planking floors. Located on the ground floor of the inn, the Bristol room features a king size bed, love seat and coffee table, desk area and huge brick wood burning fireplace. Exceptionally romantic, quiet, easy access, warm in winter and cool in summer.

Hickory Room
A terrific room for long stays, for those who really like to stretch out, and for accommodating third person. Located on the inn's second floor, Hickory is the largest room with a two room private bath fully accessible in room. Hickory features a queen size bed with love seat sofa that folds out to a twin bed to accommodate a third person or for separate sleeping arrangements for two. It also features a propane fireplace (useable year round), desk/work area, and coffee table.

There is an additional charge of $25 per night for a third person (rates are based on double occupany).

Lenoir Room
A light sunny room featuring an oak four poster queen size bed, a loveseat, coffee table and desk. The loveseat folds out to a twin bed. This room accommodates three people. It can also be used to provide separate sleeping arrangements for two. The Lenoir is located on the second floor of the inn. Full private bathroom enclosed.

Linville Room
Spacious room with antique iron queen bed, two glider rockers, antique chest and desk. This room can accommodate a third person on a rollaway bed. Linville catches the afternoon sun. Linville is the second largest room, perfect for long stays and those who like to stretch out. Very private room looking out at nothing but green and can usually hear the stream outside. It is located on the second floor of the inn. Full private bathroom enclosed.

Baldwin Room
Baldwin is a large and airy room that catches the morning sun and afternoon shade. Located on the inn's second floor each features luxurious king size wrought iron bed (locally made in Boone), a loveseat sofa, coffee table and desk/work area. It has a full private bathroom enclosed.

The business rate for one Sunday thru Thursday is $129 per night (for single occupancy).

Spring House
Exceptionally private and romantic retreat! The cottage is set back behind the main inn, looking away from the inn into our main perennial flower gardens and gazebo. It has its own private deck and parking apron. From your deck you look up into three surrounding wooded ridges and can see and hear our stream and waterfall. The Spring House features a queen size bed, hardwood floors, a free-standing propane fireplace (used year round), sofa and coffee table, coffee and tea station, and desk/work area. It has its own enclosed full private bathroom.

Another romantic evening at the Lovill House Inn! Six spacious  rooms including one cottage. Full private parking lot.  All rooms have fireplaces in room or access to the common area fireplace 15 Sept thru 1 May. Two rooms have propane fireplaces year round.Meticulously maintained 1875 farmhouse, combining old world historic charm with today's modern conveniences. In-town rural inn. Close and convenient location to everything, without being immersed in town. Set on 11 wooded acres and secluded on all sides of the property.
ABC's of Romance Package.  "A" bottle of champagne, wine or sparkling cider from our cellar, a "B"ouquet of fresh cut flowers, and "C"hocolate dipped strawberries, served for two for $45. Treat the special person in your life.Gather around the fire for social hour.  Hor's douerves, and an open fridge for drinks including several wines, beers, sodas, and lemonade.
Morning breaking on our wrap around porch.  A different panorama each day!Morning sun rising over the Lovill House.  Protected and secluded on three sides by wooded mountain ridges, discreetly hidden from the road by 140 hemlocks in an 18 ft hedge. Close to Old Town Boone, but located far enough away for quiet and privacy.
Bristol Room: with wood burning fireplace, king size bed, full private bath.  Sleeps two. On the ground floor. Restored original hard wide pine plank flooring and wormy chesnut beams. A wood lovers delight!The guest's living room. Comfortable and welcoming, available 24 hours, the living room is where we often gather in colder months for social hour. Daily newspapers, copies of local restaurant menus, wood burning fireplace, soft music, cards and games, and a library await our guests.
Spring House Room is one of six rooms, unique as our only cottage. Very romantic and private, with queen sized bed, full private bath and private deck, propane fireplace, TV/VCR and WiFi, desk work area and coffee/tea station. Beautiful garden views looking out. Private drive.The Lenoir room has a queen size bed, is upstairs in the inn, and receives the most light of all our rooms. The love seat faces the TV/VCR cabinet. The room also has a full private bath, Wifi capability, secluded views, and in room heat and overhead fan controls. Always cheery and sunny even on bad weather or gloomy days.
The wrap around porch is a favorite place to gather to meet new friends, listen to the birds, or read that favorite book of yours.  The rocking chairs beckon, breezy and cool....rain or shine folks gather to enjoy the scenery and fresh mountain air!The Spring House is our cottage, and only room not in the inn.  This is our choice for the romantics.  It has its own parking apron, is level in its approach, exceptionally quiet, yet close to the inn for all your needs.  A private deck and year round propane fireplace help make it a special choice!
The Baldwin room has a king sized bed, and gets  alot of light.  Sofa couch faces the TV/VCR Cabinet.  Room also has a working desk, full private bath, WiFi, in room heat control and overhead fan. This room is on the second floor of the inn. Cozy, quiet, and very comfortable.Dining Room and living room common areas.  Serving a full hot breakfast each morning. Both look out at the stream side of this heavily wooded and secluded property. Excellent for small meetings as well.
The Hickory room is our largest room. This photo encompasses one third of it including the the queen sized bed, sofa couch that can fold out to provide a second bed or a third person, and the propane fireplace (available year round). Also has TV/VCR/DVD cabinet, Wifi, working desk, overhead fan, and two room full bath. Perfect for stretching out or to accomodate 3 people. Welcome to the Lovill House Inn!  The foyer where we welcome our guests. The distinctive original maple floors are complimented by wormy  chesnut beams, arches, doors and doorframes with glass etchings.  Warm and inviting.  A wood workers delight.
Looking up at the back of the property, the gazebo near the stream and old barn frame the path leading up to the waterfalls. The property has twelve perennial flower gardents to explore and enjoy!Lenoir Room is one of six rooms.  Light and airy, with queen size bed oak four post bed, with a sofa that folds out to a twin bed, private bath, TV/VCR, WiFi and desk work area. Delightful and cheerful.
Linville is the second largest room offering the most square footage for the dollar. This is   
Scott's favorite room.  Queen sized bed, all windows look out at the secluded side of the yard towards the stream bed. Two glider rocker chairs face the TV/VCR cabinet. Linville has a full private bath, large walk in closet, WiFi capability, and in room heat control and overhead fans.  Great for those who like to stretch out or for long stays.  Perennial flowers abound during 3 seasons in our 12 gardens.  Come, relax, reconnect.  Steps  away from the stream, swing gazebo and hammock.  Choose your spot!
A favorite location most of the year...our wraparound porch with numerous rockers.  Bring your favorite book and drink from the kitchen fridge. Listen to the songbirds. Meet new friends or just relax and recharge. Always a nice breeze.The Limelight Hydrangea tree outside of the inn in over 130 years old.  Our inn is well shielded from both noise and the summer heat. Shaded areas abound.
Our old working barn dates to the early 1900's. Over 3 acres of walking, gardens, water fall and stream, the barn is surronded by picnic table and a swing gazebo.  It's location gives it a commanding view of the inn and out buildings. We are surronded by 8 acres of wooded ridges on three sides. Very quiet, secluded, and romantic.
