General Information

A Scottish-Celtic legend tells of a magical tree that symbolized beauty, hospitality, privacy, peace, and sanctuary--the Rowan Oak--also an ideal symbol for a B&B. Built in 1901, this blue-gray and cream house was constructed in the Queen Anne style and features a carved oak front door, leaded and stained glass windows, meticulously carved mantels and the original ornate electric and gas light fixtures.
