Relax in the grace and allure of an eighteenth century plantation estate at the Arrowhead Inn Bed & Breakfast, circa 1775, which has been carefully renovated to provide the comfort and amenities of a fine hotel. The Arrowhead Inn, a North Carolina Bed and Breakfast, rests on six acres of verdant gardens and lawns, amid venerable magnolia and pecan trees.

Although this Southern B&B is only a 15 minute drive from downtown Durham, North Carolina, the Arrowhead Inn Bed and Breakfast feels a world away from the stress of every day life. An impressive wood-burning fireplace can be enjoyed from the second-story king sleeping loft or the luxurious double spa whirlpool. A glass-enclosed steam shower with room for two awaits your pleasure in your private bathroom. The cabin hosts an eat-in area with microwave and refrigerator. A secluded porch with rocking chairs overlooks colorful gardens.

    Our luxurious Garden Cottage offers a soothing two-person steam shower and oversized whirlpool tub nestled near a gas fireplace. A majestic four-poster cherry queen bed ensures a restful night’s sleep. A glance out the window reveals idyllic flower gardens, full color and variety. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the inside sitting room of the cottage. The covered veranda also beckons you to take your breakfast outside. Spend a tranquil evening on the porch on our double swing.

    Gloria and Phil Teber brought their skills from their professional lives and their love of cooking to the Arrowhead Inn. Phil was trained as a chef at the Culinary Institute in Washington DC. He is also a master carpenter and restorer. They both love opera, classical music, theater, gardening and butterflies.
