General Information

In the heart of Historic Shepherdstown, West Virginia's oldest town, this restored 1868 federal style stately home offers six charming guest rooms with private baths furnished appropriately for the period. Guests may enjoy a complimentary tea or sherry by fireside in the inn's large living room, cozy library or treetop level outdoor porch. Enjoy a bountiful homemade full breakfast in either of the two dining rooms. There is a library with an extensive collection of reading material and a living room with TV/VCR and movie collection. The Inn is in walking distance of several locally-owned shops, fine dining and an independent movie thater. Shepherd University is just a few blocks away. Antietam Battlefield, Harpers Ferry, the C&O Canal path, river rafting, Charles Town race track, and outlet shopping are some of the area attractions you can explore.
