This was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast. You feel welcomed the minute you walk in the door. The best night's sleep I have had in a long time. Everything was wonderful and beyond what I expected.

Exterior renovations and new landscaping recently completed.  The Island Manor is a "true pearl" of Chincoteague Island!The rose lined courtyard with fountain is a splendid place to enjoy the morning's full Southern style breakfast.  The magnificant roses provide blooms all season long to this tranquil and peaceful oasis in life's fast pace.
Known best for its annual Pony Swim, Chincoteague Island is a relaxing destination all year round!The Garden Room is a lovely common space for all guests to enjoy.  The light pours through windows all around providing views of Chincoteague Channel and the rose lined brick courtyard and fountain.  The fireplace provides that romantic touch to the space.
Nathaniel Smith Room--King bed, all season fireplace, TV.The Joseph Kenny room is but one example of the beautiful rooms of the Island Manor House.  This room have recently been redecorated is soft shades of lavender.  The new King size bed will certainly provided a wonderful night's rest.
The Sandy Dune room is decorated with a beach dune theme.  Here you will find hand painted murals on the walls, and even a dune fence headboard.  This room has a private ensuite bathroom.  The Sandy Dune is tucked away on the 3rd floor and is a favorite romantic, anniversary or honeymoon get a way.The Misty Mare room is a tribute to what made Chincoteague famous...our wild ponies.  This room also provides a new Queen bed with private adjoining bathroom.  Wake each morning looking out over the Channel and marsh from this 3rd floor room.
A premier wedding location on Virginia's Eastern Shore, the Island Manor House can comfortably accomodate outdoor ceremonies and receptions of approximately 85 people.  Indoor space can accomodate approximately 30 people.Certainly one of our most romantic rooms, the Juliette is decorated in romantic shades of blush and crimson.  This room feature a new Queen bed with private adjoining bathroom.  Leave your window cracked and let the trickle of the fountain soothe your worries away.
Enjoy a glass of wine during a tranquil evening on the courtyard.Comfy, causal nautical living room to enjoy a good book, use the computer center or watch tv.
Enjoy our full breakfast each morning.  Various types of seating with tables for two for those romantic morning with your speical someone.  Enjoy breakst with new friends at the larger main table.Surfing, biking, hiking, walking, climbing Assateague light, boating, birding, running, shopping, eating, painting, relaxing...are just some fo the things to do while staying at the Island Manor House.
