General Information

This chef owned and operated AAA three diamond and Mobil three star establishment offers a truly romantic gourmet and pampered experience with cozy candlelit parlors, fireside guestrooms and fine gourmet cuisine, all inclusive. Rooftop Skylight Fireside Jacuzzi Suite offers private shower bathrooms and Jacuzzi tubs for two. Working fireplaces add a special touch of ambiance. An elegant candlelit dinner awaits you after a refreshing dip in one of our outdoor garden hot tubs(for an addtional fee). Morning coffee service in your room welcomes in the day followed by our chef's special gourmet candlelit breakfast. A delightful afternoon dessert tea is included in room rate as well. It features decadent cakes and pastries. The Woodruff collection also offers a four and five course fine dining experience. The Woodruff is perfect for intimate weddings, honeymoons, and romantic getaways. The Woodruff, an 1882 Fairytale Victorian and 1890's French Country Victorian, is located two hours from Washington, DC; Richmond; and Baltimore.
