General InformationThe 1700's - a time of history, independence and glorious homes. Come to The Richard Johnston Inn located in the heart of Historic Fredericksburg, 3 blocks from the train station, for an unique, upscale 18th century inn. The Inn was constructed by architect, John Taylow, one of the original signers of The Declaration of Independence and served in the 1800's as the home of the mayor of Fredericksburg, Richard Johnston. The award winning Richard Johnston Inn still reflects the charm and grace of a past era while providing all of the amenities for the comfort of our guests.
