The Harrison Room
Features a Victorian Full size bed with a fireplace and a fainting couch. Named after Senator Orlando Harrison and his brother George. They purchased the home in 1902. They however never made this house either of their home. However, they farmed the 285 acres extensively.

The Johnson Room
This room located to the front of the house. You will find an inviting queen size canopy bed along with a fireplace and a view of the large fountain in the front of the yard. Named after the original builders and owners of the home, Henry and Elizabeth Johnson. At the time 1200 acres was part of Miss Elizabeth's dowry and in order for Henry to have her hand in marriage he had to build her a home that was fitting for her and the property that came with her. They named their new home "Sherwood".

The Stokes Room
You will find a full size bed and a private bath in the Stokes room. Named after the second family to own this home. Painted in a soft peaceful blue and facing the front of the home you will again see the large water fountain in the front yard.

The Purnell Room
This room is called the "Honeymoon Suite". When entering you will find a sitting area with a fireplace and as you step down into the charming and secretive bedroom, a full size bed awaits you in a more concealed area. Accentuating this room is a whirlpool tub located in the private bath.

The Burbage Room
Named after the current owner the Burbage room is light and airy and gives you that warm comfortable feeling when you walk in. There is also a fireplace located on the far wall next to a comforable rocking chair.

The Dryden Room
The Dryden room a rich colorful design to be found in this room. A cozy rocking chair sits next to the fireplace and offers a relaxed atmosphere. The Dryden family owned this home from 1956 to 1972. They gave the original name of "Sherwood" back to the home adding Merry to it. Thus today the name "Merry Sherwood".

The Scanlon Room
This room brings in the light and gives it a fresh and airy feeling. It offers a peaceful and serene aura as you sit and unwind in the cozy rocking chair located in the corner next to the fireplace.
Named for another set of owners that occupied the house before Mr. Burbage purchased and renovated it. It contains a full size bed with a lovely quilt that invites you to snuggle and curl up into it.

The Chase Room
Warm and inviting this room is light and welcoming. It boast a beautiful quilt with antique furniture. It has a full size bed and a private bath. As you leave this room you will see the stairs that lead to the cupola where you can climb to the top and look out over the gardens and acres of land. You will stand where generations of owners have stood to look out over their property and the crops growing in the field. Step back to a more quiet and peacful time.
