General Information

Bed & Breakfast in a federal period mansion built around 1800 in the center of historic Sharpsburg at the Antietam Battlefield. Used as a hospital to care for the wounded following the battle. Harpers Ferry and C&O Canal nearby. Our five uniquely beautiful accommodations are furnished with antiques but also equipped with all modern amenities. Cable TV, DVD or VCRs, WiFi, fridge, full air conditioning throughout, there is even a house computer for you to use in the front parlor. Relax outside on your room's large private porch or enjoy the patio. Our complimentary multi-course bountiful breakfast is included each day. Bicycle rentals and tour guides are available.

    Please note that in the event that your plans change, cancellation must be received 5 days in advance of 3 PM check-in time on your scheduled day of arrival or you will be charged for one night's stay. If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours in advance, or do not arrive for your reservation as scheduled, you are subject to charge for the entire stay booked. Cancellations MUST be made by telephone conversation with the Innkeepers, answering machine messages and email are not acceptable. A service charge of $25 per room will be made for all cancellations.
