This 1880 waterman's home in the heart of Solomons, offers an unique blend of old traditions and modern conveniences. Seven private accommodations, include two suites and a cottage. Tour the island with the inn's bicycles, launch your kayak from our pier or find a quiet nook in the garden for reading a book.   South on Pennsylvania Avenue. South of Beltway it becomes Route 4. In Solomons, Take Solomons Island Road to Alexander Lane, turn left, two blocks to our driveway at the corner of Alexander Lane and Calvert Street. Off street parking.
• Nearest major airport: BWI 70 miles
• Directions from airport:
  Follow signs to Rt. 97 south. Once on Rt. 97 south continue to Rt.3 south (don't take Rt.3 business it comes up first, wait for Rt.3 south to Richmond.) This is where Rt 97 divides, so stay in right hand lane and exit onto Rt. 3. Rt. 3 automatically changes to Rt.301 once you pass under Rt 50. Continue on Rt 301 South to Rt 4 South to Prince Frederick. You will be in the right hand lane to cloverleaf onto Rt. 4 south. From here it' s about 1 hour. Follow Rt. 4 south it will hook up with Rt.2 . Continue on Rt.2/4 south thru Prince Frederick, you are about 30 minutes away. Once in Solomons stay in the right hand lane and you will exit just before the bridge, onto Rt.2 or Solomons Island Rd. You will wind around under the bridge and come out by the visitors center. Turn right onto Solomons Island Rd. Just in front of the Calvert Marine Museum. Go 4 blocks south on Solomons Island Road, turn left onto Alexander Lane, go 2 blocks to the Inn's entrance.
