The 1740 HOUSE offers you a private retreat where all 23 guestrooms have spectacular views of the River. During the summer months enjoy a cool dip in our beautiful pool with a refreshing cocktail from the Tavern and let your imagination take you back to the days when George Washington crossed the river nearby to turn the tide of American history.

All well-appointed guestrooms are spacious and offer private bath, balcony or terrace, AC, cable TV, robes, and internet access. Several rooms have fireplaces. Enjoy a full breakfast prepared by your hosts in the dining room or, when the weather permits, on the river view patio; afterwards enjoy a walk along one of the walking paths on Bulls Island - just a short footbridge away, and when you return enjoy our complimentary afternoon refreshments.
