Blueberry Sauce

- 2 cups Fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
Steps:
- Place blueberries in a saucepan.
- Add water, sugar, cinnamon and salt and bring to a boil.
- Simmer until berries are tender for about 15 minutes.
- Stirring constantly, add cornstarch blended with lemon juice and continue to simmer until sauce is clear and thickened for about 3 minutes.
- Cool, store in airtight container in refrigerator. Makes approximately 2 cups. Great on pancakes and waffles.
