Situated on the exact site of the First Day's Fighting, today the Doubleday Inn is your oasis of peace on the Gettysburg Battlefield. A beautifully restored colonial country inn which enjoys splendid views of historic Gettysburg and the Battlefield, the Doubleday Inn is just one mile from town yet worlds away from the hustle and bustle. Guests enjoy the quiet atmosphere from either the lovely grounds and guest patios or from inside in centrally air-conditioned comfort. The inn is filled with cozy antiques and Civil War accents, including a small library of books about the battle. A full candlelight country breakfast is served daily along with afternoon tea and cookies.

Cancellations within 7 days of stay, No-Shows, or guests checking out earlier than original reservation will result in full room charge.
