General Information

This beautifully romantic villa overlooking Seneca Lake was built between 1910 and 1914 as a faithful replica of the Italian Villa Lancellotti in Frascati. The Italian marble fireplaces and wood-coffered ceilings are just a few of the features that have been lovingly maintained throughout this time, and carefully incorporated into the elegant hotel that it is today. There is a romantic ambience throughout, with each suite having its own unique décor, some with original fireplaces, each with a ready kitchen and ten having two bedrooms. The setting itself makes this an ideal venue for a wedding or conference, and the restaurant is renowned locally, serving to residents and non-residents alike. The Colonnade Pavilion is ideal for al fresco dining in the summer months, while the splendid Lancellotti Dining Room is delightfully romantic, with live music from piano, vocalist or string ensemble. This is fine antiques area, but guests can also fish from the hotel dock, go on a canoeing trip or ice-skate and ski in the winter months. Guests may enjoy scenic drives through the picturesque countryside and visit Geneva's historic district and Seneca Lake's wine trail. Niagara Falls could make a wonderful day trip.
