As you stroll our property you will enjoy the beautiful waterfall and rushing mountain trout stream. Try your hand at catching a fish or wade in the stream,on a hot summer day. Relax in the hammock or adirondack chairs with a good book.Winter is a special time of beauty at Captain Schoonmaker's. The sights and sounds of our rushing mountain trout stream will make you snuggle further under your blankets as you let all your cares drift away.
Snuggle in the Queen Canopy bed with cozy featherbed while you fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall. Step out onto your balcony and enjoy the stream and wildlife.Sit on your balcony and watch for deer or the Great Blue Heron who fishes our stream. Fall asleep in the hammock to the sounds of the stream and waterfall.
Relax by your Fireplace in 'The Captains Quarters'Our "Waterfall" Room is very bright & sunny with 2 walls of windows overlooking the Stream & seasonal waterfall.
