General Information

'The jewel of them all has got to be the Mainstay,' according to the Washington Post. Built by a pair of wealth gamblers in 1872, this elegant, exclusive clubhouse is now one of the premier B and B inns in the country. Guests enjoy 12 antique filled rooms and suites, three parlors, spacious gardens and rocker filled verandahs. Breakfast and afternoon tea daily.
