General Information

The Inn offers an inviting and elegant atmosphere of antiques and estate furniture, while providing all the modern conveniences. The Inn is within walking distance of village shops and is close to three Long Island Sound beaches. Many restaurants are nearby. All rooms have private bathroom, cable TV, air conditioning in season, telephone with voice messaging, and both wireless and dial access for your personal computer. Selected rooms offer in-room fireplace or jacuzzi. A full breakfast is served each morning, a welcome back reception each early evening, and complimentary soft drinks and snacks are always available. Relax in front of the large fireplace in our beamed sitting room or outside in the English garden. All guests have access to the morning papers, menus from local restaurants, area maps and brochures, and a refrigerator stocked with snacks and cold drinks. Warm hospitality is always included.

    California Egg Puff, one of our favorite hot entrees, is a delicious baked oven omellette that mixes eggs, several types of cheese and just the right amount of mild green chili peppers to be flavorful but not too spicy. Your breakfast always starts with a fruit course and cereal is always available. Along with the daily hot entree, we serve a toast or baked good, and a breakfast meat such as bacon or sausage. Coffee, tea, decaf, and juice complete the picture.
