General Information

Treat yourself to an elegant retreat at the Manor House, an 1898 Victorian Tudor estate, designated "Connecticut's most romantic hideaway", and described by Gourmet as "quite grand with its Tiffany windows". The antique decorated guestrooms are furnished with four poster, brass, and sleigh beds, covered with luxurious down comforters. Several rooms have fireplaces, private balconies, a Jacuzzi or a deluxe soaking tub. Our breakfast is hearty and includes homemade bread and pure local maple syrup. During the day, there is so much to see and do- music festivals, summer theater, antique and craft shops, vineyards, museums, gardens, hiking, biking, water sports, tennis, golf, riding stables, carriage and sleigh rides, alpine and cross country skiing. We can even arrange an appointment with a massage therapist.
