Experience elegant lodging at the historic 1834 Strong House Inn and the luxurious Rabbit Ridge Country House addition opened in 1999. Located in the heart of the Champlain Valley, the Inn commands marvelous views of the Green Mountains and the Adirondack range. Throughout the restored Greek revival home furnished in period furniture and antiques, to the six acres of gardens, ponds and walking trails, the Inn re-captures the wonderful period of a time gone by. Nearby Lake Champain offers boating and fishing. Golf, hiking, skiing, antiquing and some of the finest cycling in Vermont are all part of the area's myriad of outdoor activities. Experience the warmth of winter with cozy fireplaces after a day of skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and skating. The Inn, which has full conference facilities, specializes in executive retreats, and 3-day quilting, scrapbooking and garden design weekends throughout the year. Nearby attractions include the Shelburne Museum, Vermont Wildflower Farm and the Vermont Teddy Bear Company. Rates include complimentary snacks and beverages and a full country breakfast.

For cancellations with less notice (including late arrivals and early departures), we will refund your deposit if the room can be re-booked. We cannot make exceptions for weather and personal emergencies.
