Nestled in the rolling hills of Vermont's Green Mountains, the west Dover Inn continues the gracious tradition of warm hospitality begun over 150 years ago. Set in the tiny, unspoiled village of West Dover, a National Historic District, this former stage coach stop and tavern provides exactly what discriminating inn-goers have come to expect. Lovingly restored, this beautiful inn features twelve individually-appointed guestrooms, all with private baths as well as luxurious fireplace suites with whirlpool tubs. Mornings find guests enjoying country-style breakfast in the inn's cheery breakfast room. At night, the inn's casually elegant restaurant, and 1846 Tavern features a seasonally changing array of country-gourmet entrees as well as fine wines, home-made desserts and intimate ambiance. Welcoming visitors year-round, the inn is centrally located within minutes of many activities, making it an ideal destination for an unforgettable vacation.
