General InformationPenobscot Bay Inn, a full service inn with an award winning restaurant and piano bar. A Fodor's Choice Award winner in '08 & '09, Frommer's Guides called Penobscot Bay Inn "...perhaps the best value on the Maine coast...". The Inn is located on a five-acre retreat nestled on a hillside overlooking beautiful Penobscot Bay. Our central location on US 1 makes travel in every direction easy and all premier attractions attainable in good time. The inn's 19 rooms are rated by AAA as Three Diamond lodging accommodations . All rooms have queen- or king-sized beds, private baths, telephones, cable TV and air conditioning. A hearty country breakfast is served daily in one of our three dining rooms or on the deck looking out on the bay. The Restaurant at Penobscot Bay Inn serves breakfast, lunch & dinner Wednesday through Sunday year round. Penobscot Bay Inn Tours offers airport pickups at both Portland and Bangor (please ask for fee schedule), motor couch tours of the entire midcoast of Maine and kayak and bicycle tour with or without a professional guide.
