General Information

This spacious resort stretches along a spectacular half-mile of oceanfront. There are: lake and ocean beaches, game lawns, and woodland hiking trails. Situated amidst cultivated organic gardens, woodlands, and open fields, the historic restaurant, wagon house, Shore Oaks Seaside Inn, and 15 cozy cottages have been welcoming guests for more than 118 years. Shore Oaks Seaside Inn has ten elegant bedrooms. Cottages are a delightful melding of comfort and rusticity and are sized for couples or larger for families. The food is exceptional!

    Served on the beach every Thursday evening. Boiled maine lobster, seafood chowder, salads, rolls, beverage. This is a roll up your sleeves, on the beach affair. Both children and adults love it.
    The menu changes on a daily basis. There is a varying selection of appetizers, entrees, soup, salad, desert, bread, potato or rice, and fresh vegetable. The culinary staff is excellent and the waitstaff attentive and cordial.
