General Information

Built in 1772 as a Public House, the Bagley House is the oldest house in the town and is listed on the National Historic Register. The main house has five guest rooms, furnished with antiques and hand crafted reproduction pieces. In 1998 the "Bliss Barn" was built to reproduce the barn that was once here during its dairy farm days. The barn has three large rooms, each with a gas fireplace and views of the surrounding fields and woods. The large common room is available for private parties and small meetings. The Bagley House is an ideal location for exploring other parts of Maine, either the coast, the Lakes and Mountains or a little closer to home for hiking, boat trips on Casco Bay or drives along the shore. Of course there is Freeport for shopping and L.L.Bean.
