Conveniently located in the heart of Freeport, Maine, Nicholson Inn offers all the amenities a traveller could desire. A Freeport landmark since 1925, Nicholson Inn has a long tradition of hospitality. Norman and Martha Nicholson acquired this elegant building in the 1930's, and through the '40s and '50s it became a synonym for warmth and welcome. Now the Nicholson's granddaughter Jane and her husband Alden are carrying on that tradition. Working with love and respect for the Inn's architectural integrity, the Grants have updated, renovated and modernized the facility, giving carefull thought to providing the maximum amount of comfort and convenience their guests could require.
