General Information

Originally built in 1767, and now completely restored, this classic farmhouse, set atop seven acres, overlooks a picturesque country lane lined with rustic stone walls and shady sugar maples. Enjoy vistas of neighboring Highland Lake, Kearsarge and Ragged Mountains. With its ten, spacious and comfortably appointed guest rooms, the Inn is perfect for romantic couples or business travelers alike. Each room has a private bath, and some rooms have working fireplaces. Spend the night and sleep deeply on luxurious bedding and fine linens by Mascioni of Italy and enjoy Molton Brown Bath Room Amenities. In the morning, awake to a sumptuous and hearty country breakfast.

East Andover is ideally located for four seasons of recreation and relaxation. During the warm months, read a book on one of the Inn's two porches, walk to the beach, launch your boat, bicycle, hike or play golf. In cold weather ice skate on the lake, snowmobile on the local groomed trail system or enjoy cross-country and downhill skiing just minutes from the font door. Throughout the year you will enjoy the area's abundant fine restaurants, antiques and outlet shops, the International Speedway at Loudon, as well as two nearby Shaker villages.
