Less than a mile off busy route 1, the home has a rural feeling with informal perennial gardens and 20 acres of woods and fields. Eat breakfast by the walk-in colonial fireplace in the keeping room with interior shutters, or snuggle into the library with a good book. The rooms are spacious, easily accommodating families, yet are separated enough to provide peace and quiet as you snuggle under the canopy or pull the bedhangings closed. Newport, Block Island, Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, and Foxwoods Casino are minutes away. Rhode Island's famous ocean beaches are just two miles away. Perfect for rehearsal dinners, reunions, informal weddings, honeymoons or family vacations.
