General Information

Thorncroft Inn is comprised of 14 rooms in two buildings on 3 1/2 acres of treed grounds, situated on a peninsula that incorporates upper Main Street in the village of Vineyard Haven on the Island of Martha's Vineyard. It is a secluded, exclusively couples oriented, first class country inn, with the Island's only Four Diamond Award from the American Automobile Association every year since 1990. The inn is a honeymoon, anniversary and special couples getaway destination. All rooms have private bath, antique furnishings, air conditioning, phone, high speed internet access and color cable TV. All buildings and grounds are completely non-smoking. All room prices include full country breakfast in our dining room, breakfast in bed, afternoon tea and pastries, evening turndown service, free parking and the Boston Globe newspaper delivered to each guest's door in the morning. Most rooms have working, wood burning fireplaces and canopied beds. Some have furnished balconies or porches, private exterior entrances, two person whirlpool tubs or private 300 gallon hot tubs. We even have a private cottage with garage for the guest who demands absolute privacy.
