General Information

Some say this house was floated on a barge from the adjoining island of Chappaquiddick in the late 1800's. Other's say it was pulled by oxen across the icy narrows of Katama Bay. The Arbor is just a short stroll to village shops, fine restaurants and bustling harbor. Typically New England decor, the rooms are furnished with family antiques and the fragrance of fresh flowers. Enjoy your continental breakfast in the fireplaced dining room, the muraled breakfast room or outside in the gardens.
